About Me
I’m a Bulgarian-born, California-raised, New York-based design leader with over a decade of experience shaping products for some of the world’s most recognizable brands.
After a brief stint in academia, I realized I was searching for the kind of excitement that only a fast-paced, creative industry could offer. I pursued a degree in fashion design and have never looked back. Early in my career, I was part of the small team that brought ThirdLove to life, helping to challenge the established intimates space.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of leading design for iconic brands like Victoria’s Secret and Under Armour.
For me, fashion is a powerful tool that can transform the cultural conversation around body inclusivity, self-representation, and sustainability.
As I’ve grown as a designer, I’ve discovered a deep passion for mentoring the next generation of talent. I love leading teams, fostering collaboration, and creating ideas that truly connect with the customer.
Whether it’s intimates, performance apparel, or lifestyle accessories, my goal is always to design with purpose and a clear point of view.

Before entering the fashion industry, I excavated a major Mycenaean period pottery workshop in Mycenae, Greece and managed the excavation of a complex stratified site in Mendes, Egypt. This experience taught me meticulous documentation and long-range historical trend analysis, which I now apply to brand strategy and IP research.
My MSL thesis, DESIGNED TO FAIL? Reforming Fashion Through Professional Governance and Certification, proposes a new governance model grounded in survey research of design professionals to tackle professional turnover in the industry. This research is driven by my own 10+ years of experience as a Design Director and Senior Designer.
