A full concept-to-technical development project for a women's SS27 performance collection, built around a single tension: what happens when you stop asking women to choose between pretty and strong.
The project spans trend research, materials strategy, design development, and technical specs across cut & sew and seamless categories. The materials framework pushes past recycled content into regenerative merino wool, bio-based synthetics, and bio-based nylon — materials with a smaller footprint built in, not bolted on.
The technical work includes a ruffle curve hem short with laser-cut edges and bonded pocket construction, a bio-based translucent windbreaker with commuter storage and packable hood, and a seamless running jacket with knit-in shirring for size adaptability and silicone branding printed in Braille — a detail that started as an inclusivity gesture and became a design signature.
